Thermostat Housing Gasket

Post by smartfazer »

Hi All,

This might be a silly question but...........

Is there a gasket for the thermostat housing as none of the parts lists show/mention it? Neither is it mentioned in the service manual.

If not, how does it seal? Do we have to use that horrible blue goo?

I am asking because I want to overhaul the cooling system and before I take it apart, it would be nice to know what I need.

Many thanks as always.
