Hi,

Don't know if the head gasket was changed. not by me yet.

Could this be the reason? wouldn't then the bike smoke clearly "white" and the water level be going down little by little?

Thanks

maybee the changed the headgasket and used to many sealend and the cooling poorts are seald shut , than the water cannot run the normal route thrue the head and it wil be getting very hot.

That's actually a very plausible explanation Jarno. This over heating issue has had me a bit puzzled. I certainly don't think you'll get anywhere with it, unless you start taking things apart and inspecting stuff. I would still pull the head off and check it's straight.

Hi,

Will check that next week, hmm too much sealing compound could be an explanation..

I'll report..

Thanks

So cleaned the radiator..changed nearly nothing.

Going to change the head gasket then..anyone know where to get only the head gasket, not the full set?
Which make do you recommend?

Thanks

Only use OEM gaskets and do not use any sealant.

Hi,

So I took off the head, there is very little sealant used but nothing in the holes, so nothing really seems to obstruct the water flow...
The sparks plugs are BR10EG.

Here are some pics of the head and piston.
The right head is quite scratched, the left one very clean.
What are thoses scratches?? Did those come the the piston??

What can be this overheating problem then?
By pusching the kickstart the pump drive does turn with, so it seems to work properly.

Thanks
