hi,everybody ,i am presentley building a kr1s track bike ,used to race years ago,in marlboro rounds with lc,s,did a bit with 4 strokes aswell sorry ,i have not got a current acu licence so don,t have aacu book for specs for supersport 400 racing,i have lockwired caliper bolts gearbox drain plug spindles etc and have fitted overflow pipe catch tanks ,but have been told you need a catchtank in bellypan in case motor goes to catch oil,is this correct?also do you make your own ?if so any ideas or can you buy them any help or if anybody got one for sale would be very interested in any help anyone can give me regards freemo. \:D/

Hi Freemo, I'm not a racer myself but I'm pretty sure two strokes don't need a catch tank as there is no oil in the sump to catch, I'll let the racers confirm this for you though.

You don't need a oil catch tank in the fairing on a 2 stroke.
