Front & Rear Light not working

Post by Tambo »

Hi folks,
Can anyone think of anything obvious as to why my lights won't come on ?
My loom and switchgear were all like new, bulbs fine, fuses fine, everything else works - indicators, brake light, even the pass light.

Thinking it must be a broken switch, or ignition switch ??

Any thoughts before I start ripping it to bits again

Cheers,

Tommy

only way to found out is to follow the + in the wiring loom.
since everything else is working, you could start at the 2 brown wires that enter the fuse box : you should have 12V there and than follow the wiring diagram.
My ultimate goal is to die young as late as possible !

Yep, I'll just work my way through it.
With everything being in such good nick, I thought i had nothing better to do than connect it up #-o
Will let you know when i find it............... unless it's really obvious / embarrasing

Found it 8) bad connection from the fuse box into the loom ! Just some very light corrosion on the terminals - hard to spot!!

Could be on for an MOT next week sometime 8)
