Post by slashing »

I have replaced the stator coil plugs an plug caps and pick up coil the bike ran fine for 60 miles when i got near to my home the rev counter started to play up it wouldnt go above four thousand revs and the neutrel light was getting dimmer and flashing on and off. I thought this could be a dodgy rectifier so i changed it for a new one from electrics works when i started the bike up it did not want to rev properley an the powervalves were opening an closing every now and then can any one help i dont knowwhat else to try can any one help please.

One of the above has likely caused the CDI to fail, so if you've replaced everything, get a new tacho and CDI and you should be fine.
