new kr1s owner, bike complettely dead!

Post by ebay_moon »

Hi guys,
Got myself a KR1S and need to ask a quickie. I got it with a smashed ignition lock, but have installed a replacement. It's also got a new (charged) battery. Turning they key produces nothing at all on the dash. I've checked out as much of the wiring as I could, there doesn't seem to be any problems, damage, etc.

Could this be main fuse failure to make the bike dead as a dodo?
Or maybe something missing like the CDI, something like that?

Many thanks for any ideas on where to start!

on the top left ot the site you can download the manual

start from the battery and follow the wiring and find the point at which you no longer have the 12V you should have. might be lot's off things : fuses, bad connectors, broken wires, ...
My ultimate goal is to die young as late as possible !
