Dodgy Kips motor? CDI? battery? diode? reg/rect? its all gobbledygook to me but some people understand it ask tham a question here

have noticed when the indicators are on. the headlight seems to flicker a bit with the indicators[only slightly] any ideas, have i got a bad earth :?:

or the battery isn't fully charged and the indicator relay is dragging the voltage down... hence the flickering main beam

Check your battery... you should have 14 volts across it

It'll be some where in the 12v region with the engine off.

I'm actually leaning towards the earth problem myself.
I know my battery is a bit sad and the indicator is just really slow to flash unless I bring up the revs a bit. :roll:
The dimming of the other lights (sometimes till they can't be seen) is a classic symptom of a bad earth. You'll usually notice that it dims as the indicator flashes if it is.
