Coil swap

Post by Binetta Steve »

Hi sorry if this sounds a bit ignorant. Im looking to swap out my coil to see if it helps cold starting. Do you need to remove the radiator or can you do it with the tank off and some juggling?

Hi Steve
If you take the tank off and remove bolts frome the rectifier braket and remove nuts that hold the coil to it, it will then come out through the top, without removing the rad

wemoto.com sell a two lead coil that fits steve. I can have a look at the part no if you like.
its worth buying new, as coils can sometimes break down slowly, and even when you test them, they test ok
