Original Hoses

Post by sharky »

Sorry to ask more questions but has anyone got any picture of the original brake hoses/pipes for KR1S

i'm having some new ones made through these guys http://www.japanesemotorcyclebrakehoses.co.uk/

i can send him the dimensions as can copy that from the braided ones on the bike but would like some pics of original ones so he can make it with the right springs/ends and extra coverings

seems like he doesn't have the details anymore of when he did them for pablo

so if anyone has any pics or even an old knackard set they don't mind parting with that would be awesome

Cheers

Try these for size.....

A 'Horizontal Bend'

A 'Vertical Bend'

Front M/C to Splitter

As above but turned through 180°

Front pair to Calipers

Rear, with vertical bend banjo's

Not sure what to say about the spring type cover, I guess they should be the same length as the hose between banjos.

As a rough guide, when I hold the hoses vertically there is a gap approx 15mm between the top of the 'spring' and the bottom of the top banjo.

Hopefully that all makes sense.
