There is a thread in the KR-Kive section, that explains all I think??

Thanks, yes.

So these would be a direct fit?

Anyone tried the zzr 600 calipers (6 pistons)?

Aren't they to powerfull for the Kr1-S?

Thanks

The 6 pots are just a bit heavier, but they look nice

the 6-pots have no advantage over 4-pots. none.

they only have the disadvantage that they are crap because the piston's always get stuck and they need complete servicing about every year.

Best prody brakes, would be off a CBR. Jan is 100% right about the 6 pots, I ran them on my race bike, so know from experience

Hi guys,
So go my "new" calipers a few days ago.

But they don't really fit :((((.
It are those ones http://www.ebay.de/itm/05-08-Kawasaki-Z ... 4d199080c0

Here's a picture I took.
The mounting holes are too wide too.
Those should be off a ZZR600 05-08.

I thought these would be a direct fit?!
Or am I wrong...?
Thought I read it in the KR-Vife section...
There are contradictory statments in this section about the calipers.

As Janbros wrote (and the catalogue)
JanBros wrote:if you wonder which calipers from which bike will fit :

http://www.beringer.fr/cat/caten.pdf

it's the Beringer catalogue. how to use it ?

look for a Kwak modell that has the same calipers as a KR1-S like the ZZR600, so in our case it's K11A/K01A. all modells that have the same replacements are a direct fit with no modifications needed.

as for the Blade/GSX-R... calipers : all models with H11A/H01A replacements can be used with the same modifications as mentionned in this topic
These would be a direct fit...

If the zzr600 05-08 don't fit (or I got the wrong ones) can anyone please tell me for sure what calipers of which model are a 100% fit?

Thanks very much
Mouser

Those are the wrong 6 pots, take a look at the photo Bernie posted above.

You need these ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-GSXR10 ... 2a39956e9f but I still stand by what I said, you would be better off with calipers off a blade.

I believe this style fits with spacers.

Thanks for your answer Luders,

so do the zzr600 05-08 not fit or did the guy send me the wrong ones?

I wanted to mount calipers without any spacers, I wanted a 100% fit, but which ones of Kawa ( 4 pots) do fit?

Thanks
Mouser

he's sent the right ones, they just don't fit.

I believe these will bolt straight on

I thinck the confusion comes from the fact that Kawasaki released a ZX6 version as a ZZR600 version.

you correctly found in the Beringer list that ZZR600 -07 would fit, but Beringer talks about the real ZZR, not the ZX/ZZR 600

But you should have listenned to us : 6-pots are crap. they weigh more, do not offer better braking and need servicing way too much.
