zxr 400 forks

Hi there, can anyone put a link up for converting the zxr 400 forks and yolks for the kr1 and what problems come up ,,,,i just bought a complete front end minus 1 caliper and top yolk :D

just found the forks i bought and looks like the conversion has been done allready [-o<

just been and had another look at them and it does not look like the spindle has been swapped .I will take a pic then post later.

you can use a H or L yolk, they are ecxactly the same, apart from the hole for the stem on an L model is bigger, bet that can easily be bushed (if you know someone with a lath).
My ultimate goal is to die young as late as possible !

I operate a lathe all day mate \:D/
I think they are H1 forks.

is there much difference between the kr1 and the zxr 400 H1 stem i,e will they go straight in. i just need a top yolk

H stem is just a little bit longer than KR1. don't know how much, 5mm or so. all the rest is the same.

i run an h front end havn't swopped the stem just shimmed it 5mm as jan says.
