RGV wheel Spacer Fitment Question

Post by cpw888 »

Hi guys,

I got the plans for the spacers off here, got them made up and they are sweet.

My question is, you seem to use the large, outer bearing in the sprocket carrier with these spacers, but the other smaller bearings internal dia. is to large to fit the 17mm axle and the spacers don't sleeve into them.

Do you change the smaller bearings out of the RGV wheel to 17mm ID ones, or do I have to get another sleeve to fit them, or am I doing something completely wrong here?

If you do need to get different bearings, doe's anyone have the bearing number handy, or know if they are a common, easy to get bearing?

Thanks in advance,

Chris.

There is an internal sleeve that fits inside the wheel bearings IIRC

Is the sleeve inside the KR1-S wheel? I haven't popped the bearings out of that yet.

Got it all sorted, have 2 new bearings coming with a 17mm ID.

Thought it would be a better option rather than spacing the axle out 1.5mm each side, as this would be a very thin spacer!
