I couldn't find my answer but I thought the Zxr250a wheels front and rear are the same as the 1s? I thought at least the rims are not sure if the sprocket carrier or spacers are.

Have you got the wheel codes on the ZXR 250? They are not so common over here. I guess you're after some equivilant B wheels for a project?

No if I had the part numbers it would probably answer this they look very close to the same rim. They are the same size and width even have the same style sprocket carrier and rotor bolt pattern.

I don't understand what you are trying to achieve? Why not just use KR-1 wheels? There's not a shortage.

I have a kr1s frame and swingarm and I want 5 spoked wheels and the 1s rims are slightly wider I want it to look orginal kr1 wheels only 3 spoke also not quite as wide.

Kr1 front 2.75 1s 3.00
Kr1 rear 3.75 1s 4.00

Plus I can get Zxr250a wheels cheaper than 1s wheels aparently 1s wheels are made from gold.

ZXR250A (and ZXR250B...if you can find one!) wheels are identical to KR-1S wheels.

There are minor differences between 1989 wheels and 1990 wheels, but I don't think these differences affect interchangeability (later KR-1S export models had the 1990 ZXR wheels, I believe).

The rear wheel sprocket carriers are identical, but I think the outside RH wheel spacers and axles are different.

The front speedo drive gearboxes are identical, but axles and spacers are different.

If you want any part number info, let us know!

James
