Rear Shock remote reservoir bracket.

Post by Jiffi77 »

Hi, does anyone know what the standard/original finish of the bracket that mounts the rear shock remote reservoir to the frame should be - as I'm sure the corroded rust finish on mine isn't as it left the factory ??

I think it is a zinc plated finish, not sure if it was bright finish or drab olive as mine was corroded (but no trace of paint).

Hi Jiffi welcome to the forum, sorry I cant help as I have White Power reserve on mine and its built into the res. Given the position of these parts eg they cant be seen, i would be relaxed on what you can get. The anoraks of rebuilds will allways find something non original, even down to the tax disk!

So build it up and get some photos on here, we love photos, and some member love shiny , so dont spare the Autosol.
