Part A is the clip.

It clips into the groove on the end of the spindle and stops the nut coming undone.

It is another part which is different to the KR1S.

Seems only me and Bertie mollie know what this part is

Prob because not many kr1,about and mostly kr1s
You did say it was a super rare part Martin, so maybe its not that surprising that people queried it, it no longer surprises me that you cant communicate with adults before sulking again but there ya go. Maybe best stick to eBay in future and limit your activity on the forum just to reading the posts..

I'd be interested depending on price Martin, PM me please

I would guess most are missing because the spindles been mashed with a hammer to remove it  or at least mine has been, small and easy to loose is another guess.

I have always used a large R clip in the spindle groove

Excuse the state of the nut and adjuster :P - this bike is due for an overhaul later this year.

Not good for a niche forum to have guys going at each other..
I'm on a couple of popular forums and " in house" prices are well on the up...
I had a chance to be insane , asylum from the pouring rain..

The rear axle nut thread is M16x1.5 isn't it (I haven't got mine on hand to confirm)??

If so, and you can't get hold of one of these special clips, you could try using a Lambretta engine pivot shaft nut. These are shallow M16x1.5 Nylock nuts (about 12mm tall in total), so shouldn't come off if they happen to work loose somehow.
The nut is plainly visible on the end of the pivot shaft on this page: https://www.scooterhelp.com/tips/engine ... .drop.html (next to the carb).
If you want to try one of these, make sure they are the genuine type (or a faithful copy) - some aftermarket ones are taller than the originals.

Alternatively, I'm sure that there will be some of those all-metal self-locking nuts available in the correct size from one or more of the Japanese bike makers.

I'm not sure how many clips Martin has available. If his stock quickly runs out, I daresay the part could be remade - the cost may not be justifiable though  .

Regards,
James

It seems that this happens often with a certaian person. I don't know why as I have never met him. But their seems to be a problem with him. I have a idea why he is the way he is

Martin,

Since your comments were made directly underneath my post, are you possibly referring to me...? What exactly do you mean when you say "this happens"?

I realise that a person's mood/tone/intention can be misinterpreted in their written words, so I'd just like to say that I am not attempting to have a go at you (nor was I in my previous post) - I'd genuinely like to know what you meant by your comments.

I would also like to agree with the comment made by c&c on 17 March; "Not good for a niche forum to have guys going at each other.."

Regards,
James
