Re: Squish clearance and compression ratio - advice please!

I've inputted all the standard data and this is what I get for a Conical head. and this is what I get; Calcs I am only interested in the squish angle. When Bob Farnham did my head, he said he set the squish to 17Degrees (although I haven't measured it myself), however, the spreadsheet recommends 13....

Re: Squish clearance and compression ratio - advice please!

According to the default figures in 'JanBros 2stroke Head Calc B', the Piston Dome Radius is 197mm and the piston dome height is 2mm. Re: Squish clearance and compression ratio - advice please!

I have a copy of the latest Head Calcs spreadsheet. I'd like to set it up using standard pistons.
Please could someone tell me what the standard piston dome radius is, as well as the standard conrod length, and all the other input data needed for a standard engine.

Therefore, could someone please send me the correct Dimensions for the inserts so I can ...

Re: Rgv swinging arm.

I fitted a P swingarm to mine (sold it later as it wasnt eligible to race with). It goes in nicely with some minor spacers at the front. I had a new tie rod bearing housing made up and welded onto the bottom of the swingarm in the same position as the original KR1 one in order to maintain the levera...

Re: Is it me ?

I think both have their specific niche to fill. For general chit chat about bikes and showing off pictures, etc, FB is great, however for more indpeth technical discussions and the archive of relevant information, then specific forums are the way to go, as the subjects tend to be assigned to specifi...
