Not a sausage, no Kr’s tandems or 1S , given it was the “Japanese “ show I was surprised. Did anyone else go?

Re: Tuesday Night Regular Meeting at the Pitstop Cafe Stockton on Tees

Your right about high beam, the guy who fitted mine runs a business called HID50 and knows his stuff. For ages he didn’t recommend high beams , but then they brought out fast start, that do just that. Other point on HIDs on BM’s is they need to be canbus compatible otherwise you get a bulb error. I ...

Re: Tuesday Night Regular Meeting at the Pitstop Cafe Stockton on Tees

Bernie I had HID main fitted to my GS650. The light output in terms of colour and spread was stunning. Coming home on 2:10 at night was like daylight. Only issue, complex wiring as the bulb arcs at something like 15’000 volts then warms up slowly to full power. Maybe thats why in the 2018 update of ...

Re: Start of the new Kr1s forum

Good to hear Bernie & Martin. I have said it before I feel there are two roles Facebook and a dedicated forum play. For here is my new bike and what gearbox oil to buy go fac. For stripdown, advice or race prep or detailed model difference etc stay with a marque forum. The number of idiots I see pos...

Re: Is it me ?

FB is very good at self promotion. The wave of 2T nostalgia is pointing them all at FB rather than the more informative forums. The unwary are also drawn in on eBay and are buying stuff that is being advertised by the inevitable chancers. People will get bitten and hopefully the newer owners will f...

Given the gap the second Suzuki opens up on each straight, I thought once passed it would retake him again. But apparently not. Great riding , thanks for posting

Re: Anyone have a KR250 for Sale?

A mate of mine has one for sale at a realistic price, but it's maybe too nice and original for what you want ? I'll point him over here. http://www.kr250.org/images/KR_stafford16a.jpg That looks really tidy, what sort of value are we talking about for KR’s . Last time I saw one this nice was in Jem...

Re: Urgent - RH exhaust / spannie needed for 1000 Bikes

I would google Metal fabricators close to where you live. Then pop the pipe in the car van bike, and pop around. It wont be long before you meet a sensible engineer or someone who can point you towards one. I did this for the cast iron fin repair on my vintage ped. Ended up at an Forge Ironworks. Gu...
